Tuenti addicts

Almost all teens between 14-18 years old use this social website.
Even kids who are 11 have an account!
Most of us use it even more than TV. We use it to communicate with other friends, upload photos... or even to pass school work to one another.
It's getting more and more popular.
Tuenti is a version of Facebook for Spain. With thetime it is getting more similar to this world famous website (there is even a movie of it).
This picture was taken sort of a year and a half ago. At that time, there wasn't chat and the structure was different.

Tuenti can be an addiction, but remember;DONT'T LET IT RULE YOUR LIFE!;)

P.S: Be careful with the use you do of this web. Don't add anyone you don't know or that looks suspicious. And don't put any "very" personal information.

Just go with it

Just go with it
Just go with it ( In Spanish "Sígueme el rollo" ) is the new movie  of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston, here it will be shown for the first time in March.
A surgeon has a hobby, dating girls and then inventing a false broken marriage so he can date another girl.
But in this case he meets a quite obsessed young girl who doesn´t let him a minute, so he asks her assistant to pretend to be his " wife", but things start getting bad when two kids suddenly appear  during a weekend in Hawaii.
These two actors  have come to Spain to promote this new movie, and in many interviews, it was described as a family movie that  needs lots of sense of humor  so it can be understood.

THE PANCAKE RACE

Every year in London there's a pancake race. The course of the race is 25 metres long and it's a relay race so you need to be on a team. Everybody can take part in it. The most famous in London is the one between journalists and politicians. The only thing you need to have to participate is an apron and a frying pan with a pancake on it, but there are some rules:
-You can´t use the frying pan as a weapon.
- If you drop your pancake you'll have to pick it up and start again from the beginning.
- In the race you have to tost the pancake 3 times.
- If there is a draw the team who has the best pancake will be the winner.

How to face the rain

In Galicia, as we know, we have some months with lots of wind and rain. This may cause you some problems, for example, bad mood, bad hair, wet feet...
We’ll  give you some advice for this situation:

1.Wear rain boots. Right know they are in fashion (also named wellies)  so take advantage of it.
2.Use a rain hat or an umbrella.

3.Don't let weather rule your life. Maybe you can't go to the beach but you can do other things!

Saint Valentine's Day

On the 14th of February we celebrate Saint Valentine's Day that is a special day for people in love, friends, family...People all over the world send gifts, cards or flowers to the people they love.
Lots of times, the symbol of Valentine's day is Cupid. He belonged to Roman mythology, the god of desire, affection and love.
There are lots of different opinions about this day, many people think that is a beautiful day, but other people, like us think that it's a comercial day, and we think that if you love someone, you have to love him/her every day, not only today. However, it's a beautiful day to spend a good time with the person you are in love with.

FAMA 5

Fama's fifth edition is full of emotion and news:

-There is a new hostess, Tania Llasera. At first we loved her; but now we think that she acts a lot and wants to be the protagonist, and the protagonists are the dancers!

-There are also new teachers that come with new styles, as Maribel del Pino.

-The best thing is that funky returns with RAFA MÉNDEZ and Mariquitingo, his new pet.
This is his first coreography of Rafa´s 7, we love his creation so enjoy it!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-VDNzl16lw
-Something that doesn't convinced us are the new members of the panel of judges, Vanexxa "the most stupid" and Javier Gurrutxaga "the craziest one", but luckily Lola keeps in it.

Which are your favourite dancers?
What do you think about Lola's decision of Kevin's future in the school?
How do you think Lisa is getting with that?
Here is our opinion!

We love María, she has a particular style and a lot of energy, and also Vero, she is like a machine! One of our favourite couple is the one of Saray and Christian, we are sure they will  reach the final! But definitely the one we love is AIRAM ÑAM ÑAM, he is so hot (he dances very well too). We hope Lidia's departure soon!

Gossiping a bit, we want more action in the house, more passion, María and Ramón are very cute but not passional enough. What do you think about Lisa and Kevin? She has someone waiting for her outside but it seems she's playing with Kevin's feelings (if you play with fire you can burn yourself, be careful Lisa!)

EXAMS, EXAMS, EXAMS ...

We've just finished the C1 exams ands we will start  the C2 again, this can sound tiring, but it's.... worse. Almost everyday in a student's life you have at least four books in your backpack, and maybe one, two or three exams a day, and a normal person ( Not braniacs) say:  Stop!!!!!!!
Here we will give you some tips to pass this school year happy, with good marks and no stress.
1. We know you cannot study everyday, or you have lots of homework, or you have an exam or you just do not have time, so try to read it after every class.

2. Don't study like it is an obligation try  to make it fun, for example in literature  imagine you are poet of that time and take it easy

3.  And don´t hyperventilate!!!
If you feel happy, and you think it will pass soon, you will be great.

Healthy diet

Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies (for example, staying as thin as the girl on the cover of your favorite magazine), it's about feeling great with yourself, having more energy and keeping yourself as healthy as possible.
It´s not just "what" you eat, but "how" you eat. Here are some tips:
- Eat just the right amount of food. You don´t need to get completely full.
-Eat a little of everything. You should have foods from each of the alimentary groups (each one of the groups have different amounts per day).
-Eat five times a day. The worst thing you can do is something everyone does, SNACK. Start your day with a big and healthy breakfast that will give you the energy for the rest of the day.
-Drink a lot of water and do lots of exercice.
-Don't eat sweets and other not so healthy foods very often. You can eat them once a week, for example.

Dance group in Los Sauces Vigo

This year we have dancing classes at Los Sauces for Secondary students. We have organized two groups one of modern dance and the other of traditional galician dance. Students from 1st of ESO to 1º Bach are taking part in this activity. We work hard and have a great time preparing choreographies every Friday.

How can teenagers be healthier?

1.  Don't eat too much chocolate!
2.  Play basketball or football and better if it's with your friends.
3.  Sleep more than 8 hours and even more if do sports
4.  Go a for a walk with your dog and with your friends
5.  Have a lot of fun!!!!
